Ribes rubrum 'White Versailles' (White Currant)

A vigorous growing bush with an upright, bushy growth habit, bearing attractive arching canes. A heavy cropping bush, producing small, pale-green spring flowers, followed by masses of large, shiny, soft, pale, yellowish-white berries, produced on heavy trusses. The currants are delicious - sweet and flavoursome and great for eating fresh. Can also be fan trained against a wall or fence. Ideal for all gardens, patio pots and allotments. Very easy to grow. Self fertile, plant in full sun or semi-shade in well drained soil. Cropping season: Mid-August till November.
